Walter J. Hogan, Associate

walterMr. Hogan began his practice of law in 1975.  After a quarter century representing various public entities and insurance companies in personal injury, civil litigation and eminent domain matters, he began to represent individuals in various types of actions, particularly personal injury, medical malpractice and product liability, including trials.  He is a long standing member of ABOTA and a very accomplished and respected trial attorney.

He also began to represent various public entities.  Beginning with transit districts, his practice expanded to include cities, school districts and police departments in various forms of litigation, including personal injury, civil rights and eminent domain.  After moving to the Inland Empire in 1987, he served as a principal partner in three law firms, eventually concentrating his practice on public entity cases.

In 2000, Mr. Hogan moved his practice to the High Desert, where he reduced his defense work, and began representation of clients who had been injured.  Since then, he has litigated and tried cases involving catastrophic injuries, civil rights violation, medical malpractice and product defect cases.  Litigation and trial work have included many seven and eight figure lawsuits, several of which have been resolved by trial.

Having had considerable experience on both the plaintiff and defense side of litigation, with over 50 jury trials, and a significant number of arbitrations, Mr. Hogan is able to provide his clients with professional representation in various types of personal injury litigation.

Mr. Hogan has also served as a mediator for the California Fourth District Court of Appeal, and has frequently been retained as an independent mediator on ongoing litigation.
